[Photo taken 2 October 2002] Some of these photos look a little coarse or grainy, especially when enlarged. That's because I try to keep the file size between 50 and 125 kb. Otherwise, most dial-in users wouldn't be able to load the pictures without a very long wait, if at all. Obtaining a low file size is sometimes difficult on "busy" pictures without large blocks of uninterrupted colors, so the photo quality is often compromised somewhat for internet viewing.
