"Art in Protest" banned art show - photo gallery page 2 of 11

This is the "button archive." It was a bit overwhelming -- the back of these boards were covered in buttons, too, and there were boxes of buttons on the table. A lady started making new buttons for people later in the show.
One benefit of having so many people involved in such a prolonged movement is that some had the time, money, and skill to make professional artwork, and then print it on an actual flag, like this.
This enlarged photo, made into a protest sign, shows the size of some past rallies in Madison.
This is a take on the old "Bush or Chimp" humor from the Bush era. There was a very popular website during the Bush years called "BushOrChimp.com," showing the resemblance of various George W. Bush facial expressions to the facial expressions of chimpanzees. Now BushOrChimp.com is just a domain name for sale. Some sites have archived the old humor, though.
